Hi-

I have been running multiple dacs off my pi server and everything works
fine, but ran into an issue with identical dacs. If I have 2 of the same
dacs, upon reboot the card id's can be switched.

For instance, if I have one squeezelite with hw:CARD=Adapt_1 and another
with hw:CARD=Adapt_2, upon reboot they could be switched. This either
means the audio plays in a different room or sometimes it just doesn't
play.

I checked the iSerial of the devices using lsusb and apparently, these
dacs, cheap Cable Matters dacs, have the same serial of 000000000000. I
don't know if all dacs of the same model would have the same serial
number, but also I have no idea if it even will make a difference. Does
squeezelite read the serial in order to assign the card?

I have a UCA222 Dac and it has a serial number but, again, does it
matter?

Thanks for any help. slowly crawling to the finish line.
