Happy new year to all of you!
I have been using PCP for some time now on a 3B with the original 7" touchscreen, Jivelite and audio output via HDMI to a Pioneer AV receiver. Despite many attempts and extensive study of all possible sources, I still struggle with permanent dropouts. They occur sometimes more often, sometimes less often depending on the stream. Sometimes not at all for hours after a reboot, sometimes directly within the first minute. The sound drops for about 1-2 seconds, I can see on the AV receiver that the HDMI sync is briefly lost. I tried a very short HDMI cable, different inputs on the receiver, played with various options in config.txt like HDMI_boost, CEC, GPU_mem, edid ... so far all without really solving the problem. However, I have read reports from other forums about this problem with other applications like Kodi. The problem seems to occur somehow for years, just nobody seems to have the one solution. Who knows the problem, has idea or could solve it? Attached is my current config.txt Code: -------------------- # For more options and information see # http://rpf.io/configtxt # Some settings may impact device functionality.
