Anyway, UUX 2.0.b3 will allow you to set the input and output settings for Open Firmware. When you boot into X press command-option-o-f and you will get the OF prompt. At the prompt type: dev pci1 <return> dev (name of your card reported in Apple System Profiler.) <return> " (name of your card reported in Apple System Profiler.)" <return> model <return> boot <return> Note on line 3, the space between the open quote and the first letter of the name of your card, it's not a typo, it has to be there. For example, my configuration is: dev pci1 <return> dev ATY,RADEONp <return> " ATY,RADEONp" <return> model <return> boot <return> You have to do this on every boot at the moment but the author of UUX is working on a way to fix this. -- Unsupported OS X is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> Support Low End Mac <http://lowendmac.com/lists/support.html> Unsupported OS X list info <http://lowendmac.com/lists/unsupported.html> Send list messages to: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To unsubscribe, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For digest mode, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subscription questions: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Archive <http://www.mail-archive.com/unsupportedosx%40mail.maclaunch.com/> Using a Mac?
