In fact, the problem (at least as I noticed it) doesn't seem to be with PTPs per se. My PTP 180 worked fine. The problem was only on the PTP 225. Perhaps a minor revision to the motherboard or something about the 225 mhz processors could cause the problem. I don't know; the electronics are beyond my ken.
