I'm pretty sure that ATI does careful market research before they make these decisions. However many aficionados there are that are running OSeX on legacy Macs, it's still a small percentage of the total users out there. Too small an amount for ATI to see as a market that will provide am ongoing market; and it's a shrinking market. ATI is a corporation with responsibilities to shareholders/investors - they can't go chasing after niche markets. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to have full support too. But I can't expect ATI, or any other manufacturer, to invest a lot of R&D money in what is essentially an unsupported configuration. (OSeX on a legacy Mac, that is.)
