You can say what you want but my opinion is that ATI have had to spend extra
time to stop card working on unsuported macs (I guees will showed it more
clearly). That cost money. Or it was error. Would you camplain if it would
not work on your machine but on some other does and ATI would say it may
work but it's not guaranted. I do not.

I also don't expext that Matrox will make drivers work Millenium card that
is working under X just unaccelarated.

You are right that it's about Apple HW sales but they were not doing such a
piggy business years ago.

I was waiting 10 years for stable and fast system. What we got? Stable but
so slow ... And running VPC on X? That's quite masochistic idea.

Hope that rumors about acceleration of beige g3 and wallstreet are right.
Have to try remove motherboard RAM. Will see.
