Now that I have the 9500 (stock 604e processor & 384 Meg RAM) serving up pages using mysql & PHP it is time to address the issue of backups.
At present I am leaning toward installing a Firewire interface and using an external Firewire box equipped for use with removable hard drives. The questions: 1. Are there any issues with installing a PCI Firewire card into an unsupported machine? 2.Is this the best way to go?
