Toast 5.1.2 works very well- and familiarly. What I don't like about OS 
X's CD burning is that you can't make multisession CDs.
OS X cd burning works by "preparing" a blank CD, then you are to drag 
and drop stuff onto it. Maybe there's a problem with your burner or your 
media.
