I recently had to go from two separate phone lines, one for my house and
one for my computer to one line for both. I connected a switch to the line
so I can turn off the computer line when not needed. Now, about every 20
seconds I get two messages. One is labeled "Internet Connect" and says-"No
dial tone detected. Please check phone line connection and try again." I
don't want to try again.
The second message is the Modem Port Window that wants me to check the
connect button. I don't want to check the button. I have to stop what I am
doing to get rid of these pesky interruptions.
What can I do to block out these aggrevations?
Thanks

Wilton
