It may,who has one that will test it??? I have a Radeon 7000 card working in my G3-upgraded 8500/120 with OS X 10.1.5. I am getting accelerated video, because the screen saver is moving the images around - no more static pictures. It took a little patience to realize that the card was working, because it takes about 60 seconds for the monitor to be recognized - when the Mac OS X screen comes on. I don't see the Happy Mac screen anymore. One interesting glitch - I have a permanent spinning beach ball in the upper left corner, where it originally appears at boot time. It doesn't seem to affect anything (I'm looking at it right now while I type). It doesn't take over or affect the cursor - in fact, when the cursor turns into a spinning beach ball, I have 2 beach balls on the screen. The "permanent beach ball" stays on and continues to spin regardless of what the machine is doing, i.e., iTunes visualizer, screen saver, etc. (although it flickers when the screen saver is on). My early reaction is mixed. Scrolling through Finder windows is much better now, although resizing windows is still sluggish. Moving windows around the screen is noticeably smoother. I haven't tried any QuickTime movies yet.
