Greg, The exact same thing happened to me after installing the latest Network Update. I tracked it down to the finder preference file in your user's preferences folder. Here's the location:
Users/your_user_name/Library/Preferences/com.apple.finder.plist Log into with an admin account, and delete the file with 'sudo rm ' above_file I reported the problem to the xlr8yourmac website, but I think the webmaster removed the posting when it wasn't confirmed by anyone else.
