OK, this 7300 is starting to piss me off. I installed the CD-ROM drive on the slow SCSI line - yay - problem solved. Now The installer won't write to the hard disk. I have a nice clean 1.84GB partition (a good 650MB to spare after installation) ready to install OS X Server to and it seems the installer is having a little trouble. When I start the install (having selected the partition which is recognised by the installer) It sits at 'Preparing' and the hard disk light flashes on and of accompanied by a regular click but it seems to get nowhere fast. The hard disk is NOT DEAD, I have tested it thoroughly and it boots OS 9.1 fine and I was able to initialize the OS X Partition and copy files to and from it perfectly well. Is my SCSI on the fritz?? --
