Well, as you may recall, you have an open offer from me for the
installation of the TT Synch on Green jumper pins. If you'd
rather/also have the S900 J38 jumper pins installed, I'd be happy to
do that as well. The big pain is that shipping the motherboard back
and forth ends up costing almost $20 for the round trip.

I know that Tycho and Leopold on the XLR8yourmac.com forums use the
conductive paint. I have not tried it myself. It makes me
uncomfortable, but I think that may simply be inate conservatism. I
can't help but fear that it won't be removeable, or that it will rub
off, or that it will run into other areas or something.

There is also a conductive epoxy, but it is expensive (about $15/set)
and not very removable. It's handy for repairing broken traces and
lifted pads, but it is rather tough to work with--hard to get it only
where you want it.

No worries. I've got about four projects going simultaneously right
now. That one is an easy one which won't take much time, but also
not very urgent to me. Almost a solution looking for a problem. I
mean, I keep reading about how OF 1.05 machines are limited in
NVRAMrc space, so I think this might solve it. But it's not a
problem I'm bumping into personally in anything I do. Still, the
folks who do run into it sound rather frustrated by it, so I'd like
to offer them that solution if it works. As I wrote, I don't know
how to test if the solution actually works.
