I can't anymore cold-boot into X via Deskstar@Sonnet Tempo ATA 100 since I upgraded the 604e CPU to XLR8 G4 450. The 8600/200 boots into 9 instead. Cold-boot into 9.1 is OK. It is only cold-boot in X that doesn't work with the XLR8 upgrade card via the ATA card. Warm-boot into X is OK so this is a minor annoyance. Cold-boot into X via my internal SCSI disks is OK but I prefer to use the speedier ATA interface for X with this 8600/200. -- Unsupported OS X is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> Support Low End Mac <http://lowendmac.com/lists/support.html> Unsupported OS X list info <http://lowendmac.com/lists/unsupported.html> Send list messages to: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To unsubscribe, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For digest mode, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subscription questions: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Archive <http://www.mail-archive.com/unsupportedosx%40mail.maclaunch.com/> Using a Mac?
