hello! got a wee problem with fonts...
got my head round adding fonts - do apps have to be restarted in x to make the font visible??? i thought you could just load it? the big problem is that one of our main clients uses 'Neue Helvetica' as their main corporate font. in the system/ library folder there is a font called 'Helvetica.dfont' which gives the basic Neue font. when i load my copy of postscript 'Neue Helvetica' into my fonts folder i dont get all the weights! i can only guess this is a font conflict? thing is, osx wont let me remove the 'Helvetica.dfont' 'cos it says it's in use by osx.... is this a common problem?? cheers, jake -- Unsupported OS X is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> Support Low End Mac <http://lowendmac.com/lists/support.html> Unsupported OS X list info <http://lowendmac.com/lists/unsupported.html> Send list messages to: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To unsubscribe, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For digest mode, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subscription questions: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Archive <http://www.mail-archive.com/unsupportedosx%40mail.maclaunch.com/> Using a Mac?
