hello!

got a wee problem with fonts...

got my head round adding fonts - do apps have to be restarted in x to
make the font visible??? i thought you could just load it?

the big problem is that one of our main clients uses 'Neue Helvetica' as
their main corporate font. in the system/ library folder there is a font
called 'Helvetica.dfont' which gives the basic Neue font.

when i load my copy of postscript 'Neue Helvetica' into my fonts folder
i dont get all the weights! i can only guess this is a font conflict?

thing is, osx wont let me remove the 'Helvetica.dfont' 'cos it says it's
in use by osx....

is this a common problem??

cheers,

jake
