1) Too much for this system.

2) At least a 350Mhz G3 or perferably G4 upgrade card (for the 9600 
look at Sonnet's cards for 6 slot machines), Rage Pro graphics card, 
192 megs of memory is the least you need, 256 megs or more is better. 
If you want more/cheaper hard drive space or faster hard drives then 
you need a IDE PCI card. Acard has the best track record with these 
type of cards or if you prefer, Sonnet has a combo card with IDE, USB 
2.0 and FireWire connectors/ports.

3) A Radeon for Mac or Radeon 7000 graphics card.

4) Monitor size depends on the resolutions you prefer... the best ones 
are 1024x768 on a 17" and 832x624 on a 15" monitor in my opinion.

5) Running System 9 would only give you iTunes, all the rest of the 
iApps are for Jaguar (System X).
