If you are starting from scratch, I suggested you look for a cheap 2nd hand
iMac. It would be cheaper than upgrading an old pre G3 mac. Has pretyy much
everything you need built in. Only disadvantage with the iMac's is that
their graphics are pretty slow for game playing, and that you can't upgrade
the processor much. Of course if you can pick up an older power mac that
someone has already upgraded for resonable money then that might be a better
option. Try to get something with at least a G3 cpu and at 256mb of ram.
