Hello List, I'm a PC User, but I want to switch to the Macintosh Platform, in the beginning I wanted to buy a brand new G4 iMac, but now as searching the classifieds, I found an excellent offer, or thats what I think it is:
It's a Mac 9600 128 Mb Ram 4 Gb Stock HD and an additional SCSI HD with unknown size Stock 15' Monitor modem ISDN Sagem, which fits me, as I only have ISDN in my workplace Apple Laser printer 300 hub Ethernet 12 port Price: 590 $ 1) Is it a fair price? 2) What upgrades do I need to run Jaguar? 3) Upgrades to run Jaguar with Quartz Extreme? 4) Until now I always worked on a cheap 17" Monitor, do myou think the 15" would be acceptable 5) Running OS 9 or even 8 would I be able to run the iApplications, which are one of the reasons for swichting to the Mac. I will absolutely buy a USB/Firewire Adapter to connect my camera and camcorder. Thank you!
