The VST *card* is seen as a SCSI card.   The drives attached to it, however, 
are seen as ATA drives!    Go figure!

BTW, I have an 18 gig SCSI drive in my S900 with OS 10.2.1 installed on it, 
so SCSI drives definitely do *not* have the "8 gig" limitation on Old World 
machines
