Has anyone been able to boot OS X from a SCSI drive attached to an Adaptec 2930 in a Beige PowerMac? I seem to recall a blurb a while back on the Adaptec site saying it is not possible (in Beige Macs) but I can't find it anymore, and when I called tech support they said it was possible.
I was able to boot fine from any SCSI drive in OS 9. I haven't had any luck getting the 10.2 installer to recognize my IBM UltraStar 50-pin 18 GB drive. I'm using an 8500, with OS 10.2. Any information would be appreciated. -- _______________________ Phil Lefebvre Chicago, IL -- Unsupported OS X is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> Support Low End Mac <http://lowendmac.com/lists/support.html> Unsupported OS X list info <http://lowendmac.com/lists/unsupported.html> Send list messages to: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To unsubscribe, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For digest mode, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subscription questions: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Archive <http://www.mail-archive.com/unsupportedosx%40mail.maclaunch.com/> Using a Mac?
