I'm hearing mixed opinions regarding optimizing a 10 hard disk or partition.

Does anyone know what the best approach is for this? I've heard to
avoid Norton and have heard some suggesting using Plus Optimizer from
Alsoft. I've also heard that 10 does not even need to be optimized,
although when I look at the graph when doing other disks, it says
"severe" and looks to be in dire need of one.

I took a look at Drive 10 but can't run it on the 10 startup disk. I
guess the best way to run it would be to boot from the CD using XPost
and run it from another partition or drive, right?

Please advise.
