AFAIK, Any modern SCSI drive will work. I've used a 2 GB Seagate Hawk, a 4 GB Quantum Viking, a 9 GB Seagate Medalist, and an 18 GB IBM Ultrastar, all on the internal and external SCSI buses of a 7500 and 8500. I had unsurmountable problems with a 68-pin IBM SCSI Ultrastar drive adapted to a 50-pin Adaptec 2930 SCSI card in OS X. I don't know if the same problems affect the internal SCSI bus. -- __________________________ Phil Lefebvre Chicago, IL -- Unsupported OS X is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> Support Low End Mac <http://lowendmac.com/lists/support.html> Unsupported OS X list info <http://lowendmac.com/lists/unsupported.html> --> AOL users, remove "mailto:" Send list messages to: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To unsubscribe, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For digest mode, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subscription questions: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Archive <http://www.mail-archive.com/unsupportedosx%40mail.maclaunch.com/> --------------------------------------------------------------- >The Think Different Store http://www.ThinkDifferentStore.com ---------------------------------------------------------------
