Hmmm...this is different from the issue with XPostFacto, which produced 
no console errors, iirc, though

Have you tried going into the System Prefs Classic panel, into the 
advanced tab and tried starting with extensions off? I don't remember 
if you've mentioned this or not. You also have to option of rebuilding 
the classic desktop in that tab, as well...can't hurt.

also, run Disk Utility to check the partition that Classic is installed 
to...there might be a disk problem.
