Very true. The recommended minimum is (physical memory+12MB) for NT 4 Workstation and (physMem+16MB) for NT 4 Server. My guidline is (physMem X 4) personally. > One recommendation I have is don't move your VM to a _slow_ > disk. When I moved the swapfile to a separate but slower disk > (internal 50-pin SCSI, 5 MB/sec speed), I had _poorer_ performance. Very wise. The only other drive I have is the SCSI one, though, and it doesn't do much, so why not... :-) -- Liam Proven http://welcome.to/liamsweb -- Unsupported OS X is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> Support Low End Mac <http://lowendmac.com/lists/support.html> Unsupported OS X list info <http://lowendmac.com/lists/unsupported.html> --> AOL users, remove "mailto:" Send list messages to: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To unsubscribe, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For digest mode, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subscription questions: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Archive <http://www.mail-archive.com/unsupportedosx%40mail.maclaunch.com/> --------------------------------------------------------------- >The Think Different Store http://www.ThinkDifferentStore.com ---------------------------------------------------------------
