I have an 8500/120 with a Sonnett G3/400/512 with 384 meg of ram, 4 vram, stock 8X CD & 2 gig SCSI drive (swap partition), ACARD ATA/66 card with a WD 30 gig drive & a Quantum 9 gig, Twin Turbo 8 meg graphics for the second monitor, some kind of generic USB card that works pretty well (though I almost never use it), Supra Express 33.3 modem through the Printer port (OS even came with the driver!), 2 17" Apple monitors, Kensington 4 button trackball & stereo, running Jaguar. I don't crash and everything seems to work pretty well, ESPECIALLY after L2CacheConfig (or whatever it is called)... Speed is more than sufficient for all of my daily tasks, no stability issues. Seems to me to run as fast as the G4/400 at the office with the exception of video, which is noticeably slower. I don't encounter any problems with sleep or low power mode or whatever, nor any other signifigant problems besides that for some reason the audio has died in X, but not in a 9.1 boot... Get a bong sound on startup and then it is gone. Hmmm. I'm working on it.
