Peter, another vote here...I have 2 DVD-ROM drives in 2 S900's Liteon 163D's (IDE) they are recognized by Jaguar and one of the 2 is in a Firewire enclosure which I prefer over an internal install which is "tolerable" slight frame & audio hesitation the firewire is EXCELLENT...you can get quite a few "PC" drives that will work in OSX Apple's DVD pages will confirm this as well as Robyn's "xlr8yourmac" link. The DVD-ROM & Firewire enclosure was about $150. Lots of deals out there.
