Hi all, I am happily running OS X Server (10.2.4) on my souped up Umax S900. It originally came with a 225 Mhz 604e processor but I upgraded it to a Newertech G3 running at 333 Mhz. I did this some time ago and I am now thinking about buying a 500Mhz G4 card. My question is, is the bus speed fixed on my Umax or will an upgrade card boost the bus? I ask this because my umax originally came with a 45 Mhz bus speed and it hasn't changed, even with the G3 upgrade.
