There have been known issues with OS 10.2.4(? I'm unsure of the exact
release number) and the clock not working properly. This isn't just for
unsupported machines either, a lot of people were peeved when their new G4
kept thinking it was the disco era.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think that 10.2.6 fixed the issue. Make sure that
you have the latest update. I know that 10.2.5 didn't fix the problem,
that was the big gripe I heard about that release.
