Ok.


Classic: Boot from the OS 9 CD and install to any partition your heart desires. IN OSX Open the classic preference pane and choose the system folder to use as a Classic environment.

You can sucessfully move the Users/ directory to another partition:

Definitely a worthwhile thing, especially on a system with the 8gb limit.

You can move the swapfiles to a different partition...but this is of limited utility, imo, unless you're hitting swap a lot.

Applications seems resistant to moving APple's upgrades recreate the direectory if it's been linked to another partition.
