For an older machine I doubt it's worth $120, but it *is* worth $45 to get the PC version of the Radeon 7000 and flash it to the Mac version yourself. That's what I did! It is the exact same card, just different code in the ROM.
I thought about this, but the process requires a PC, which I don't have. If the performance was significantly better than a Rage 128, I would consider buying--you can get them for $100 from some mail order outlets. Maybe I'll wait to see how Panther acts on the 7500 running the Rage 128. Gene
