If you can afford it, you'll get more than just higher performance with the real G4/500. You'll get future-proofing: the next system after Panther may not be XPostFactoable. Plus you'll get a working volume control. Oh, and you'd probably be able to get a couple of hundred parting out your current machine if you don't want to keep it as a backup, so the actual cost difference is less than $225. If I could afford $450 for a "new" computer, I don't think I'd be messing about with upgraded Powersurge machines. -- Unsupported OS X is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> Support Low End Mac <http://lowendmac.com/lists/support.html> Unsupported OS X list info <http://lowendmac.com/lists/unsupported.html> --> AOL users, remove "mailto:" Send list messages to: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To unsubscribe, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For digest mode, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subscription questions: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Archive <http://www.mail-archive.com/unsupportedosx%40mail.maclaunch.com/> Using a Mac?
