I am still looking into this horizontal hash issue with R7000 cards. 
Would someone with an ATI Mac Edition R7000 be willing to email me a 
high resolution scan of the front and back of the card in the region 
from the rear bracket to the ATI chip?   Say about 300 dpi.    I want 
to check if the ATI Mac Edition has any additional components 
installed--assuming the layout of the ATI card is the same as the 
Sapphire card.

I would just buy an ATI Mac Ed., would love to, but no-one has them 
in stock any more.
