There is a general solution to this sort of problem. And it may be useful to other readers. Copy the installer to a read-write medium, open it (show package contents) and tweak the installer check script. It'll tell you what it's checking for... so you can fix that... or just stick an "exit 0" right after the #! line if you can't figure that out. Do it with the 1.4.1 first, then the 1.4.2 will probably go in after you have a clean 1.4.1 install. -- Unsupported OS X is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> Support Low End Mac <http://lowendmac.com/lists/support.html> Unsupported OS X list info <http://lowendmac.com/lists/unsupported.html> --> AOL users, remove "mailto:" Send list messages to: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To unsubscribe, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For digest mode, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subscription questions: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Archive <http://www.mail-archive.com/unsupportedosx%40mail.maclaunch.com/> Using a Mac?
