But I wouldn't recommend spending money on such an enhancement without some very good reason. The future lies with OS X and open source UNIX, and I think that's where your money should go.

OS X requires at least a PCI bus, even with XPostFacto. It also needs a 604e
(10.1) or G3 (10.2 or later) to boot from, so the Sonnet Crescendo 7200 which
boots on the 7200's 601 and uses it as a kind of I/O processor won't work.
