There was a model with a 233 that had an L2 cache as well as the model that did not.

Early WallStreets had 233 MHz cpus, no L2 cache. For OS X that's slow. Improved models have 266 or faster, with L2 cache. Makes a lot of difference.

AFAIR WallStreets can only take a limited RAM fit (128M?). However, the rules for RAM fit in early G3 models are often broken by newer high density chips, so YMMV.

But the HDD is a severe limitation. It's not that difficult to do the surgery to fit a higher capacity HDD in a WallStreet, but only you can decide if the time/effort/money are justified.
