I agree with you.. I can't wait to get a $299 mac.. and the way the open
source community is and the modchip community Christmas will be fun this
year..

p.s. remember you can only use the newbie ploy a few times before people
catch on..

Another naysayer. That's 2! Not bad for my first day !

Yeah, I know it's an emulator. I used to use a platform where
everything else non native was emulated .So what!
If there is enough power to handle the overhead useful work can be done.

I find these attitudes very strange for a list that supports
something Apple would like to see go away. Running OS X, native or
not, on unsupported hardware.. I have 3 PCI Macs and will soon be
asking for help getting OS X debugged. Can I expect the same warm
regards when I post with those problems.

Perhaps I should introduce myself to those of you who do not know me
from the PCI, Powerbooks and swap lists. I'm really harmless. No
need to kill the messenger.

I have been on the LEM lists for over 5 years. I came to Macs from a
hallowed platform mentioned in a previous post by another naysayer.
(Dan does not want other platforms discussed) I prefer to use
computers rather than work on them. So functionality is important to
me.
But working on them ,hardware and soft is necessary if your need
exceeds your budget. That's why we are all on Low End Mac isn't it?

Perhaps instead of my first post being on something so mind scathing
as OS X on unsupported hardware I should have posted a " newbie" plea
in the subject line and thrown myself to the tender mercies of this
list as a supplicant.

Those of you who know me will be ROFLMAO !
