Dear Friends in Christ,
We are excited to announce this year's Vine and Branches Conference, which will
take place on Saturday, May 14 from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm at The Lutheran Church
of Our Savior in Windom, MN. The conference is free and the meal is included
if you register by May 9.
The theme for this year's conference connects rural ministry to our Synod's new
emphasis. The topics and speakers are as follows:
- Witness from the Past by Rev. Terry Cripe, Ohio District President
- Mercy at the Present by Dr. Carl Fickenscher, Professor at Concordia
Theological Seminary
- Life Together for the Future by Dr. Wallace Schulz, Lutheran Heritage
Foundation Evangelist
Typically, between 100 and 150 attend our annual conference. These are geared
for laity and everyone is invited.
