Ahh by compiler I am assuming you mean an opcode cache. http://turck-mmcache.sourceforge.net/index_old.html I hear good things about. Zend optimizer is also an option, but I dont seem to see it in their website. It might be in their zend core package which I do not know if you have to pay for it. People usually pick turck or apc for the opcode cache. Or they build their own cache system. I like apc the best personally. It seems very fast to me, faster than zend optimizer cache. The reason I did'nt use mmcache was because at the time I had nothing but windows production systems and Turck did'nt have windows support so I used apc. It has windows support now but I think you need to compile it in visual c++ 6.0, read the windows install notes if you are interested. I think apc is faster than the zend package though.

Hey everybody, anybody know where I could find some benchmarks on php compilers, I'm trying to decide which one to choose, right now I got apc, which is great but want to see how well it does against the competition, also it would be nice to get one with encoding _______________________________________________ UPHPU mailing list [email protected] http://uphpu.org/mailman/listinfo/uphpu IRC: #uphpu on irc.freenode.net
