about. Zend optimizer is also an option, but I dont seem to see it in their
website. It might be in their zend core package which I do not know if you
have to pay for it. People usually pick turck or apc for the opcode cache.
Or they build their own cache system. I like apc the best personally. It
seems very fast to me, faster than zend optimizer cache. The reason I did'nt use mmcache was because at the time I had nothing but windows production
systems and Turck did'nt have windows support so I used apc. It has windows
support now but I think you need to compile it in visual c++ 6.0, read the
windows install notes if you are interested. I think apc is faster than the
zend package though.

Turck-mmache has long since been deprecated in favor of eaccelerator, a fork of the turck-mmache project, which I can give 2 thumbs up for.
