The question should be what is "senior"? I don't know how much experience they 
expect but does 5 years make someone senior with no other qualifications? 
Senior is relative. If you're a large company, 10 years minimum may be 
considered senior. But at a small company, they may be happy with 3-5 and 
calling that senior. If it's the latter, I think it is a reasonable salary for 
someone with appropriate experience (not just working out of their home for 
friends and family). 
 
I've seen this same thing for "Marketing Director". Some companies want to give 
the director title away with $45K. But if you work at a big company, it is 
worth $100K.
