Already have read that. All seemed like common sense to me. I just didn't realize that the word I used would fall with such sensitivity. A forum that involves a lot of people is always at risk of offense. I agree. But I also think that the a common understanding that different people have different levels of sensitivity towards things should be a consideration in both directions. I should try to not offend but, by the same token, another person should also try to not be offended.

For me, language is all about intent. If I intended to offend, then I am in the wrong. If I wasn't trying to offend, that should also be considered by the person who is about to be offended.

All-in-all, I do want to apologize. As previously stated, I didn't think that what I said was, in any way, derogatory or offensive. If I thought that it would have offended. I would not have posted those 4 particular letters. Please consider myself sorry for the intrusion.
