Bubble or no bubble. It would serve us all to conduct ourselves as
professionals. While this doesn't usually play on the IRC, that's a
different forum. When it comes to email, it's always good to write as
if your boss was reading (because he/she probably is).

Wow. That is definitely a strong-armed position. I had no idea
things were so domineering. I guess we do live in a bubble here. :)
After hitting send, it occurred to me that my reply may have sounded
more critical [to one who does not know me] than intended. Please know
that, while I disagree with the idea that intent is excluded from the
equation, I don't want to start a flame. I was just trying to be funny.
Hoping this email prevents an onslaught of negativity.....
