Well you can certainly draw a polygon - fill it any way you want, add
gradients, specify opacity and position/rotate/shear it any way you
want. You can enable mouse actions very efficiently by utilizing
javascript and the DOM model. Yes, you can even play movies thru SVG
though I think Flash is a lot more effective at that.
