My only complaint is that I've had a devil of a time getting Java
browser plugins to work, and since I use a couple browser-based java
applications for work, I don't use my little ubuntu laptop much. But my
kids love it.. its easy to use, the games are fun, and all the basics
are built in. I'd highly recommend ubuntu for home users & public
computers. If you use the computer for specific applications you'll
have to verify the apps individually.
