I've recently begun using cake at work and so far I'm loving it. Once you learn to just do a few thing the cake way it makes developing a breeze. I've also used codeigniter a little. Its a good, lightweight framework. But I enjoy all the features that cake presents me with. I tried using Symfony a year or so ago and just couldn't get it to work. I didn't like Propel that it used for its ORM.
