uPortal 2.6 ships with support for using CAS, all the necessary
libraries, all you've gotta do is change the security.properties
configuration and skin your CAS login button into it.
uPortal 3.0 will likely ship with an entire CAS server and be configured
to use that by default. Adopters will be able to use that, adapt the
CAS server to be fronted by something else, or opt out of using CAS
entirely.
Defaults change. Choosing to use CAS gets easier. All the options are
still there.
