I just created UP-2813: https://issues.jasig.org/browse/UP-2813
I'd like to add support for Maven filters to the uPortal project itself.
Maven filters are one potential good tool for taming the multi-server,
multi-project, multi-environment builds that come part-and-parcel with
uPortal.
I know many of us are using them already, but since it's a build thing,
we have to form the affected pom(s) to support it.
I'd love to be able to build with filters *without* maintaining custom
poms since there's a lot going on in them and they tend to change pretty
commonly.
I've attached a .patch to the JIRA I created. This patch allows you to
use filters, if you want to, but doesn't change your setup or practices
at all if you don't. It's backwards-compatible with existing configs &
documentation.
