L'autre est apparue ap�s une longue discussion souvent peu �difiante, avec coups bas, insultes et menaces d'exclusion de la liste. Bref, tr�s diff�rent de notre liste.
Elle pose des questions sur la sant� mentale de certains urgentistes. Elle a �t� envoy�e par un des protagonistes de cet �change.

Many EP's would fit some or all of the criteria presented in the above article.

Many contributions on EMED exhibit signs of PTSD, or a subclinical version thereof, to include:

1) Outbursts of anger or irritable mood
2) Poor impulse control
3) Change in mood and affect
4) Hyperarousal

PTSD has a high co-morbidity with substance abuse, and other forms of self-destructive behavior, such as sexual promiscuity and dangerous driving habits.

This, I believe, is a significant part of the often spoken of EM "Burnout."
