Good news for the ED people on the list (especialy Joe Lex): As of today the
speciality of emergeny medicine has been aproved by the minister of Health of
Spain, the first residents expected to begin in 2011.
Would like to thank all the ED people on the list that have helped to pressure
the european and spanish governments to recognise the speciality..Spain can now
join the list along with Italy who recognised the speciality a couple of weeks
ago, and hope you can come and help celebrate our new speciality in Valencia at
the Medeiterranian Emergency medicine conferance in september...will be a good
party and of course an educational conference.
