Hello,

we are using UrJTAG and we have missed STAPL support in your software
package. So, we developed the port of Altera STAPL Player into UrJTAG.
Altera source codes were released to public (read Altera license in
COPYING file). However, it does not cover the whole standard.
Afterwards, Actel extended the code about EXPORT command to be
compatible with STAPL files generated by Actel Libero IDE Suite. Now,
the development is running separately. The idea is to incorporate STAPL
player into UrJTAG; thus, unite the development and contribute from the
support of vast number of JTAG devices. Then, UrJTAG will become even
more versatile software package. If you decide to include my patch into
UrJTAG, I will contact Altera and Actel to contribute and improve STAPL
support embedded in UrJTAG.

The patch is derived from UrJTAG SVN version 1864. A module
interconnecting the both software packages is stapl.c. You are refer to
README and TODO files for further information. If you have any
questions, do not hesitate to contact me.
